Bettina (born 1988) is an Copenhagen based violinist, entrepreneur and speaker.

In 2014 she graduated MA in violin performance with excellent grades, under the class of Alexandre Zapolski.

Bettina began playing the violin at age 6 and has received formal training in solo playing, masterclasses and chamber music by many great violinist and pedagogues, in Denmark and the US. Since finishing her formal studies, Bettina has been on a journey of her own, finding her own voice in music making.

Her interest lies in the fields of contemporary and improvisatory music, dance and cross-colab. Besides playing the violin, Bettina has an interest in words, which manifest in her own written poems and a general love for expressing thoughts through writing.

Bettina is a true chamber musician, meaning that music is a means for collaborative expression and a feeling of togetherness.

Bettina is a founding member of the contemporary string quartet ‘Halvcirkel’ and is also a part of the string collective LiveStrings. Primarily her work is freelance based and also includes orchestral playing, mainly in the innovative and modern orchestra, Copenhagen Philharmonic.

Bettina plays on a modern violin, build by luthier Julia Van der Waerden (Vienna) in 2014.
